About our school

Dubbo College Senior Campus was established in the year 2000 as a senior co-educational high school catering for students in Years 10-12 and designed to meet the needs of a culturally diverse and technological society. It maintains strong links with the Bindyite Club, the ex-students association of the now decommissioned Dubbo High School, which continues to strongly support the new school.

The school's primary purpose is to promote the growth of individuals in an inclusive, caring, challenging and more adult environment.

The Campus is ultra modern in design and has state-of-the-art facilities that include specialist rooms for computing, technology, performance arts, a lecture theatre, workshops and laboratories. There are also agricultural facilities with a beef cattle stud linked to local industry and producers.

The school provides a quality education and caters for a wide variety of interests and abilities.

There is an extensive curriculum offering, including a full range of BOS HSC and VET courses as well as many TAFE delivered VET courses. Some students undertake university courses. Music, dance, drama, debating and extensive sporting opportunities are provided.

Teaching staff maintain a continuing focus an effective teaching and learning practices and have high expectations of student's, performance, commitment and behaviour.
